Peep Show version 1.0 |
Peep Show is a freeware mouse utility with 5 features to give your Windows experience a little kick. These features
include: peep hole, pop-up menu, easy document scrolling, window focusing, and cursor wrap.
Keep in mind that Peep Show is not fully compatible with Win98. For Win98 compatibility, see Peep Show Lite.

- Peep Hole Feature
This unique feature allows you to "cut" holes through practically any window!
Ever have the problem where you need to access a desktop either to click an icon, drag and drop it to the current application, or just perform some action?
Moving the window that's covering it can be a real hassle sometimes, so instead of moving it out of the way, accessing the desktop, then moving it back, why not just punch a hole through it for easy access? Cut a hole into any window, in any size and shape of your choice, and close it up just as easy.
Of course this is not only restricted for use of the desktop, if you need to quickly access the window under the currently active one for any reason, just do the same thing. Create the hole, do whatever you want on the other side of it, the close it back up (if you want)! Experiment and you'll catch on quickly, implement this feature for whatever fits your needs.
- Pop-up Menu Feature
This feature allows you to display the main menu (must be a standard menu), of virtually any Windows application, as a pop-up menu. With a quick move of the mouse, a pop-up menu will attempt to be created displaying items of the program's main menu. The program in which the menu is created on is based on the location of your mouse when you perform the specified trigger action.
- Right Click Scroll Feature
This feature allows you to scroll windows, that have a scroll bar, with right mouse button rather than dealing with clicking the scroll bar directly. For example, ever surf the web and find it annoying to scroll a long document by navigating the scroll bar? Well this program makes it much easier for you to scroll documents like this because all it takes is holding down and moving the right mouse button anywhere over the page. Smooth scrolling, vertical and/or horizontal, speed controlled, try for yourself.
- Focus Windows Feature
This feature allows you to force any window the mouse moves over to the front of all other windows. If you ever work with a few windows that you need to switch back and forth between quickly (as I have many times) this feature is a definite must. And the available options let you put this feature to full capabilities.
- Wrap Cursor Feature
This option forces the cursor to "wrap" around the screen when you reach the edge. Works on the left, right, top, or bottom edges.

Peep Show v1.0 UPDATE: Download the patch for Peep Show v1.0. Keep in mind this isn't a new release of the program.
It's just an update that takes care of the mouse wheel conflict (if you have a mouse wheel). Download and follow the included instructions.

Since Peep Show is only Win95/NT compatible, please see Peep Show Lite if you have Win98.
If you are just interested in the hole cutting feature, we'd highly recommend
Peep Show Lite as well since it adds a few more options.
